Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT or CNMT credentials for a weekday day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in a Nuclear Medicine/Nuclear Cardiology department
Perform a variety of diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures with radioactive materials
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM day shifts
Shift consists of 5x8 hour days
Duties include preparing and administering I-131 thyroid therapies
Responsible for quality studies and may provide preliminary findings to physicians as appropriate
Expected to perform quality control instrument checks and review calibration data
Role includes assisting with training new staff

Requirements

Current ARRT or CNMT certification required
Must be certified in Nuclear Medicine Technology
Experience with IV puncture and injection techniques for radiopharmaceuticals
Ability to lift or move 4 to 5 patients daily
License required if applicable
