Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Telemetry position in Michigan requiring active MI RN license and advanced certifications.

Details

Position is within a Neuro PCU (Progressive Care Unit) in a hospital setting
Patient population includes neuro stepdown and telemetry cases
Night and weekend shifts may be included in the schedule
Unit serves both local and non-local travel nurses, with a 50-mile radius restriction for local candidates allowed only one 13-week contract

Requirements

Active Michigan (MI) RN license required
At least 2 years of Neuro PCU experience required
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Recent travel work history is highly preferred
Two completed supervisory reference forms from the last two years required
Complete and up-to-date PCU skills checklist required

Additional Information

All scheduling requests must be made at the time of application
No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be considered
Local travelers are limited to completing only one travel assignment
Candidates should be prepared to provide all required documents for consideration
