Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position in Montana requiring a current RN license and at least one year of Cath Lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a hospital setting
• Day shifts are 10 hours, typically 4 days per week from 07:30 to 18:00
• Patient population includes those undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
• May be required to float to other departments within competency and qualifications
• EPIC is used for electronic charting in this unit
• Perform independent and delegated nursing functions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
• Responsible for health teaching, counseling, and supporting patients through cardiac procedures
• Will be expected to document according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Participation in on-call rotation may be required during scheduled shifts
• Candidates should be prepared to provide vaccination and drug screening documentation promptly upon hire
• Dress code or scrubs requirement will be provided during onboarding

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience in a Cath Lab setting required
• Completion of an accredited ASN program is required; BSN preferred
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current AHA ACLS certification required
• No pending license allowed for consideration
• Previous permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year prior to eligibility
