Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift travel contract requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is located in a hospital med/surg unit
• Work is performed on unit 6F with a focus on general medical-surgical patient care
• Night shifts are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract duration
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult med/surg patients
• No local candidates will be considered
• References from Florida or Missouri require two professional references
• Must maintain active licensure and certifications throughout the contract

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent med/surg RN experience required
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• At least one professional reference required
