Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in a cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology setting supporting interventional cardiology, neurology, radiology, and electrophysiology procedures
Day shift position with an on-call rotation including one night per week, one weekend per month, and holiday coverage
Weekly schedule ranges from 32 to 40 hours
Responsibilities include both diagnostic imaging and special procedures
Care for adult patients in a Level I Trauma environment
Perform and assist with cardiovascular, neurological, and interventional radiology procedures
Responsible for prepping and monitoring patients, including vital signs and physiological monitoring
Operate and maintain imaging and procedural equipment, ensuring sterility and radiation safety
Document procedural data, medication administration, and support patient care post-procedure
Assist with vascular access, use of contrast agents, injectables, and provide instruction to students and partners
Position requires strict adherence to sterile technique and biohazard protocols
First-time travelers will be considered for this position
Scrub attire as required by department policy

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in cath lab or interventional radiology
Graduate of an accredited radiology program
IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required
Current ARRT(R) required
ARRT(VI) or ARRT(CI) required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
NIHSS certification required
License required if applicable
