Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility role requiring a BSN and 2 years of LTC/SNF experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a long term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) with a census of approximately 42 elderly patients
Provide care to patients with multiple diagnoses in a post-acute setting
Patient ratios vary from 1:21 up to 1:42
Evening shifts from 2pm to 10:30pm, 8-hour shifts
Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
Uses Point Click Care (PCC) EMR system; prior PCC experience preferred
Orientation includes one day of general orientation and up to three days on the floor with staff
Responsible for the full scope of RN duties in the care of elderly patients with complex medical needs
Must be comfortable managing varying patient ratios and working with a diverse geriatric population
Dress code and scrub color requirements can be confirmed during onboarding
Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required as part of the rotation
No on-call or callback responsibilities

Requirements

Active SD or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in long term care or skilled nursing facility
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
