Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level II NICU night shift position requiring a valid NJ or compact RN license and Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in a hospital setting
• Night shifts with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:30)
• Care for neonatal and infant patient populations
• Epic charting system is used in this unit
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
• Up to 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved
• No time off approved during the first week of orientation
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Professional references and license verifications are required for consideration

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• 1-2 years of NICU experience required
• Recent Epic EMR experience preferred
• Former permanent staff must have a minimum one-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
