Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least 2 years of experience and circulating skills for night shift roles in a short-term acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in the Operating Room of a short-term acute care hospital
• Patient ratios are 1:1 during night shifts (3x12 hours, 18:00–6:30)
• Critical on-call is required with a 30-minute return time
• Travelers will be required to float between designated facilities as needed
• Use of specialized equipment such as XI Robot, O-Arm, and HANA table
• Cerner EMR is used and experience is required
• Scrub color is royal blue
• Daily responsibilities include circulating within the OR and supporting surgical procedures using advanced equipment
• Must take critical on-call shifts and be able to return onsite within 30 minutes when required
• No local candidates accepted for this position
• No RTO allowed in contract, but time off requests may be discussed during interviews
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Block schedules are not accommodated

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current BCLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Experience with circulating is required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements (medical or religious exemptions accepted)
