Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with circulating skills and Cerner EMR experience for a travel contract requiring FL or compact state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a short-term acute care facility
• Patient care is provided on a 1:1 ratio during day, night, and weekend shifts
• Rotating on-call shifts are required with a 30-minute critical on-call response time for 12-hour shifts
• Weekend requirement is on-call only
• Float between multiple facilities within scope: MCH, MDH, SJN
• Use specialized equipment including XI Robot x2, O-Arm, and HANA table
• Cerner EMR is used and experience is required
• Assigned shift is 3x12-hour days, 6:30 to 19:00
• Royal blue scrubs are required
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• No block scheduling is permitted
• No pre-approved RTO during contract; RTO may be discussed during interview if applicable
• Parking is provided at no cost
• Total facility staffed beds: 387

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum two years of recent Operating Room RN experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Circulating skills required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination required, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons
• Locals and candidates with pending licenses will not be considered
