Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry role in a heart and vascular moderate care unit, requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Heart Vascular Moderate Care Unit of a hospital
- Telemetry nursing care with cardiovascular patient population
- Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts
- 13-week assignment length
- No on-call requirements
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
- Maximum of five days of requested time off allowed unless time off occurs on or near a holiday, in which case a maximum of three days is allowed
- Only one holiday time off request is permitted
- Requested time off cannot be consecutive during the holiday period
- Returning employees must meet the specified separation timelines to be considered
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license in hand
- Minimum of 18 months current, full-time telemetry or related experience required
- Strong experience with cardiac and vascular procedures preferred
- Candidates with previous employment at the facility must be separated for 1 year, or 18 months if returning to the same location
