Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring a GA or Compact RN license and at least 18 months of recent nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the General Medicine/Telemetry unit of a hospital facility
- Night shifts, 12 hours each
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call requirement
- Strict rules on requested time off: maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, 3 days if near a holiday
- Only 1 holiday time off request is allowed per assignment
- Requested days off during holidays must be spread out and not consecutive
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license in hand
- Minimum of 18 months RN experience
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates allowed)
- Former staff must have separated for 1 year prior to returning, and 18 months if returning to the same facility
