Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Dayshift Emergency Department position in Oregon requiring an active OR RN license and multiple advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Emergency Department
Day shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM with rotating weekends
Care for patients with a wide range of needs, from non-critical to emergent, including pediatric, cardiac, trauma, and mental health cases
All staff are certified to care for critical cardiac and trauma patients, including children
Provide emergency care to diverse patient populations, including walk-ins and those arriving by emergency transport
Staff are trained and certified to manage both medical and urgent mental health emergencies
Facility may refuse or terminate assignments for cause
Candidates must meet all listed requirements for consideration

Requirements

Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license required
Minimum of 1 year Emergency Department nursing experience required
Current BLS (Healthcare Provider), ACLS, TNCC, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required

I loved it the hospital was small the patients were not much to handle and people were friendly.

Cons

Someone tried to walk into my hotel room while I was sleeping and had the do not disturb sign on the door. Very creepy.
