Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Dayshift Emergency Department position in Oregon requiring an active OR RN license and multiple advanced certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department
- Day shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM with rotating weekends
- Care for patients with a wide range of needs, from non-critical to emergent, including pediatric, cardiac, trauma, and mental health cases
- All staff are certified to care for critical cardiac and trauma patients, including children
- Provide emergency care to diverse patient populations, including walk-ins and those arriving by emergency transport
- Staff are trained and certified to manage both medical and urgent mental health emergencies
- Facility may refuse or terminate assignments for cause
- Candidates must meet all listed requirements for consideration
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Current BLS (Healthcare Provider), ACLS, TNCC, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required

I loved it the hospital was small the patients were not much to handle and people were friendly.
Cons
Someone tried to walk into my hotel room while I was sleeping and had the do not disturb sign on the door. Very creepy.
