Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel assignment in Florida requiring a FL or compact RN license and ICU floating capability.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital in Tampa, FL
• 12-hour night shifts with a 13-week contract duration
• Work schedule includes every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to other ICU units on campus such as CVICU and Neuro ICU as needed
• May also float to lower acuity units and take corresponding patient assignments
• Will provide critical care to ICU patients and may float to similar or lower acuity settings
• Team members must be comfortable adapting to varied ICU environments within the campus
• Every other weekend work is required as part of the rotating schedule

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Previous ICU nursing experience is necessary
• Must have a permanent address at least 75 miles from the facility for travel consideration
• Returning travelers must have been away from the facility for at least 1 year
