Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient vascular lab setting
• Focus on vascular ultrasound procedures and studies
• Variable day shift Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 36-40 hours per week over a 13-week contract
• Responsible for dictating preliminary reports using Change Cardiology
• Duties include performing a wide range of vascular ultrasound exams and generating preliminary reports
• No requested time off (RTO) permitted in the first 2 weeks of any new assignment
• Up to 6 days of RTO allowed for a 13-week contract
• Unit manager interviews will be conducted as part of the selection process
• Current FL license required if applicable
• Requires a recent specialty skills checklist and two references, including one from a supervisor or charge RN

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years overall clinical experience and 2 years in vascular ultrasound
• BLS certification required
• RVS (CCI) or ARDMS (VT) credential required
• Demonstrated proficiency in vascular ultrasound scanning, including vein mapping, abdominal aorta and iliac duplex, renal duplex, SMA/Celiac axis duplex, venous insufficiency studies, thoracic outlet exams, graft scans with ABIs, arterial mapping, and more
• Experience with outpatient vascular lab studies such as peripheral arterial and venous exams, extracranial carotid studies, aorta, visceral and renal studies, bypass grafts, pre- and post-op fistula evaluations, and physiologic exams
• License required if applicable
