Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of MRI experience and current ARRT and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a medical imaging department with 3 Siemens MRI scanners: Skyra Fit, Prisma Fit, and Sola
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Frequent procedures include MRI brain with perfusion, brain with and without contrast, abdomen with and without contrast, and knee without contrast
• Primarily handles pre-op and cancer patient imaging
• Day shift role with four 10-hour shifts from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM, with either Mondays or Fridays off
• No weekend or call requirements
• May be required to work holidays if needed to reach contracted hours
• Uses Epic for electronic documentation
• Responsibilities include prepping patients and performing a variety of MRI scans
• Experience performing X-Ray exams is preferred but not required
• Will work primarily with pre-op and oncology patients
• No requirement for weekend or on-call coverage
• Holiday shifts may be expected to meet contracted hours
• Scrubs or dress code not specified
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience
• Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment preferred
• Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred
• License required if applicable
