Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of cath lab experience and current ACLS, BLS, CRT, and Fluoroscopy Permit certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in an interventional radiology unit performing invasive cardiology and interventional radiology procedures
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• 4x10 hour day shifts scheduled from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call required one day per week and every fourth weekend in rotation
• Bedside and portable procedures performed
• Utilizes Siemens imaging equipment and Epic EMR
• Community hospital environment
• First-time travelers will be considered for this assignment
• Participation in a call rotation is required
• Works as part of a collaborative care team handling adult and geriatric patients
• Expected to follow strict infection prevention and PPE protocols

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a radiology technologist including at least 2 years in a cath lab setting
• ACLS, BLS, CRT, and Fluoroscopy Permit required
• Proficiency in adult acute care, radiation safety, infection prevention, and isolation precautions
• Experience with preparation and administration of contrast media
• EPIC EMR and Siemens imaging equipment experience required
• License required if applicable
