Description

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with ARRT certification and at least 2 years of hospital experience for an evening shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Hospital-based MRI technologist position
Evening shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
Work involves performing MRI procedures on patients as ordered
Will encounter a variety of patient cases in a busy hospital environment
Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures and ensuring patient safety throughout exams
Evening shift allows for reduced daytime commute traffic
Scrubs or dress code requirements are per hospital policy
Local candidates within 60 miles are eligible at a reduced rate

Requirements

Current NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License (license required if applicable)
NYS Injection License required
ARRT certification with R.T.(R)(MR) credentials
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience in a hospital setting
Two recent professional references from prior managers in current discipline/specialty
