Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Long Term Care position in a Skilled Nursing Facility, requiring a NY RN license or proof of pending licensure.

Responsibilities

Work in a Skilled Nursing Facility within a long-term care setting
Night shifts with 8-hour durations
Floating to other units within the facility is required
Must work every other weekend or adjust schedule as needed for patient care
No on-call requirement
Provide comprehensive nursing care to long-term care residents
No block scheduling is allowed for any reason
Candidates must have reliable personal or rental transportation due to lack of public transit in the area
Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April
Assignment is open to first-time travelers
Holiday and weekend coverage may be required to support patient care needs
RTO requests will be considered according to unit needs
Local candidates are accepted with differentiated rates according to distance from facility

Requirements

Active NY RN license or proof of NY license pending at consideration
Minimum of 1 year RN experience required
Long term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
Prior travel experience not required
