Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift LTAC Med/Surg position in Tampa, requiring a FL or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) hospital setting
• Med/Surg unit caring for chronic patients
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Patient care for medically complex and chronic conditions
• Floating may be required within a 25-mile radius
• Primary responsibility is providing nursing care for patients with chronic and complex medical needs
• Staff must clock in and out using the electronic timekeeping system
• Internal candidates must be fully resigned from any permanent positions within the parent health system before travel assignment consideration
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius may be considered at a lower rate
• No PALS certification required for this position

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg or LTAC RN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (RCIS and RQI not accepted)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must provide full US SSN for consideration (no Canadian SINs accepted)
• All certifications must be valid throughout the assignment
