Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN with recent LTAC experience and a FL or compact RN license for a day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) unit specializing in chronic care
• Work schedule is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on day shifts
• Med/Surg patient population with chronic conditions
• 13-week assignment length
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot be currently working as a permanent employee for the health system
• Electronic timekeeping system is used for clocking in and out
• Med/Surg nurses provide care to patients with chronic, complex medical conditions in an LTAC environment

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required prior to consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg or LTAC settings
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (RCIS and RQI certifications are not accepted)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Full US Social Security Number and date of birth required for employment eligibility
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
