Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week ICU position with 12-hour night shifts and floating requirements.

Responsibilities

• Hospital ICU setting with a total of 7 beds
• Nurse to patient ratio of 2:1 and 1:1
• Works 12-hour night shifts, including weekends
• Expected to float to all departments within competency, including MedSurg as needed
• Equipment used includes Liberty Peritoneal Dialysis Cycler, Meditech EMR, Omnicell, Philips monitor, Alaris IV pumps, and NICOM
• Provide high-quality, efficient, and safe nursing care to critically ill patients
• Collaborate and coordinate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Professional nurse dress code is required
• Orientation includes 8 non-billable hours
• Local pay rates apply within 80 miles of the facility

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
