Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 5W Cardiac Telemetry position in a stepdown intermediate care setting, requiring an OK or compact RN license and AHA BLS certification.

Details

• Work in a 28-bed cardiac telemetry stepdown/intermediate care unit
• Primary patient population consists of cardiac patients with varying acuity
• Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4-6
• Support provided by PCTs, healthcare unit coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs
• Night shift from 18:30 to 07:00
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license with Nursys and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred or required based on hospital group
• Must provide a U.S. Social Security Number and a valid U.S. home address
• Driver’s license and two professional references required
