Job Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP, BLS required) for an outpatient-focused role with both pediatric and adult populations.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care teaching hospital with Level IV trauma designation
• Primary focus is outpatient therapy: 85% pediatric, 15% adult, with one day per week of adult acute care
• Daily patient load ranges from 12 to 14
• Schedule consists of five 8-hour day shifts, with Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in Cottonwood and Tuesday and Thursday in Sedona
• Business casual attire is required
• Cerner EMR system is used for documentation
• Position includes both pediatric and adult outpatient therapy, with occasional adult acute care responsibilities
• Team structure and block scheduling are determined by the unit manager
• Requests for time off must be approved by the unit manager
• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Free parking is provided on site

Requirements

• Current CCC-SLP certification required
• Valid BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• License required if applicable
• First-time travelers are accepted
