Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of OR and fluoroscopy experience, ARRT certification, and strong EPIC skills.

Responsibilities

• Position based in a large hospital X-Ray department serving adult and pediatric populations
• Night shift schedule: one 9.5-hour shift (Friday 8:00 PM - 5:30 AM) and two 12-hour shifts (Saturday & Sunday 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Patient care includes inpatients, outpatients, emergency department, NICU, OR, endoscopy, and day surgery
• Handles 250-300+ exams per day, including 100-125 portable exams
• Specialized procedures include lumbar punctures, myelograms, swallowing studies, esophagrams, UGIs, barium enemas, bronchoscopies, and ERCPs
• OR imaging includes ORIFs, hip replacements, PLIFs/ALIFs/TLIFs/ACDFs, and cystograms
• Uses Samsung, Carestream, Siemens, and Phillips x-ray equipment, GE OEC c-arms, O-arm, and PACS systems
• EPIC EMR experience is required; Interlad experience is preferred
• Primary duties include performing routine and specialized x-ray procedures throughout the hospital
• Must work efficiently in a fast-paced, central department with frequent cross-departmental needs
• Team serves the only Level II trauma center in the region
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Compliance with zero-tolerance attendance policy and night shift punctuality is essential
• Pass/fail competency testing and timely compliance completion required
• No local rate; all candidates must meet the radius requirement

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year recent radiology experience required; 2 years strongly preferred
• BLS and ARRT certification required
• Experience in OR and fluoroscopy imaging is mandatory
• Proficient with PACS, portable imaging, C-Arm, and use of contrast agents
• EPIC EMR proficiency required; Interlad experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
