Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active OH or compact license and recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, 19:00-7:30
• Patients require both medical-surgical and telemetry care
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Travelers are expected to work at least every other holiday
• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic locations are limited to a maximum of 18 consecutive months
• A minimum of 6 months is required between assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location
• Use of Qualivis – Lotus for submitting hours worked

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Must provide two professional references for consideration
