Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position in Nevada requiring an active NV RN license and proficiency with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift assignment with a 13-week contract length
• Patient population includes critically ill adults in an ICU environment
• Epic charting system is used, with training offered during orientation or a test-out option available
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• Kronos timekeeping system utilized
• Must be able to work at least two major holidays during the assignment
• RTO must be requested up front and will not be compensated by extending the contract
• Orientation is provided with Epic EMR training or test-out option
• Candidates may be considered for multiple positions if they meet the required skillset

Requirements

• Active Nevada RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred
• No local candidates allowed within 60 miles of the facility
• Candidates returning as travelers must have completed a 13-week break following prior contracts
