Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT or ARMRIT certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of recent acute care MRI experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital radiology/MRI unit with acute care patient population
Night shift schedule: Wednesday & Thursday 7:30pm-6:00am, Friday 10:30pm-7:00am, Saturday 6:30pm-7:00am
No on-call required
EMR system is Cerner; prior experience preferred but not required
Locals accepted with a local pay rate for candidates residing within 50 miles
Performs MRI imaging procedures according to hospital protocols and within scope of practice
First-time travelers are welcome
Perm staff may return as a traveler after a 12-month break in service
Weekly orientation provided
Must include all requested time off at time of consideration

Requirements

Active ARRT or ARMRIT certification required
BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year recent MRI technologist experience in an acute care setting
Current NH license or Compact license required; must be fully licensed at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
Minimum of 2 references, with preference for recent leadership references
Skills checklist matching MRI specialty required
