Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU day shift position in California, requiring a valid CA RN license and Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with five 8-hour shifts, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Required to float between all facilities within the state as needed
• Epic EMR is used and experience with Epic is required
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must not live within 50 miles of the facility
• All requested time off must be declared at submission; post-offer RTO may be denied
• Minimal to no RTO is preferred for these assignments
• Refusal to float to other facilities may result in termination of assignment
• COVID and Flu vaccination documentation may be required

Requirements

• Active and current CA RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent PACU or comparable specialty experience required
• Current BLS and other required certifications
• Experience with Epic EMR is required
• At least 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years in a comparable setting are required
