Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU night shift assignment requiring prior pediatric CICU travel nursing experience and active MO or compact licensure.
Details
- Work in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) within a children's hospital
- Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week (19:00–07:00)
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks
- May float to the Cardiac Med Surg floor as needed
- Cerner is used for charting and EMR documentation
Requirements
- Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration; pending licensure is not accepted
- Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) certifications required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 1 year pediatric CICU travel nurse experience is required
- Work history must clearly reflect CVPICU or CICU experience
- Applicants must have at least one year of experience as a traveler; first time travelers will not be considered
- Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
- Two recent professional references from a supervisor within the last 12 months required
Additional Information
- Critical care duties for pediatric cardiac ICU patients
- May assist on cardiac med surg floor as needed
- Magnet-designated, academic teaching, Level I Trauma, and Level IV NICU environment
- Free parking available with permit
- Kid-friendly colored or patterned scrubs permitted
- Nicotine testing required and campus is nicotine-free
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
