Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU night shift assignment requiring prior pediatric CICU travel nursing experience and active MO or compact licensure.

Details

• Work in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) within a children's hospital
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week (19:00–07:00)
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• May float to the Cardiac Med Surg floor as needed
• Cerner is used for charting and EMR documentation

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration; pending licensure is not accepted
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) certifications required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year pediatric CICU travel nurse experience is required
• Work history must clearly reflect CVPICU or CICU experience
• Applicants must have at least one year of experience as a traveler; first time travelers will not be considered
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
• Two recent professional references from a supervisor within the last 12 months required

• Critical care duties for pediatric cardiac ICU patients
• May assist on cardiac med surg floor as needed
• Magnet-designated, academic teaching, Level I Trauma, and Level IV NICU environment
