Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with telemetry skills for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a VA or compact license and Epic experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on a 36-bed med/surg telemetry floor in a hospital setting
• Night shifts (3x12 hours), 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient population includes telemetry and post-surgical cases
• Uses Epic EMR; prior Epic experience is required
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Provide care to patients requiring telemetry and post-surgical monitoring
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Copy of driver’s license and social security number must be provided for onboarding

Requirements

• Active RN license from VA or compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent med/surg telemetry RN experience
• Prior experience with Epic EMR is required
