Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist for weekend overnight shifts, requiring at least one year of recent radiology experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in an X-Ray department within a hospital setting
- Weekend overnight schedule with 3x12 hour shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 11:00 PM to 11:30 AM
- No on-call requirement
- Position is open to local candidates at the same rate
- Travelers must comply with a drug and tobacco free workplace policy
- Natural nail policy is enforced
- Holiday coverage may be required
- Requests for time off must be submitted in advance
- This is an auto-offer unit
- Must not exceed 40 scheduled work hours per week without manager approval
- Smoke free facility, smoking is not allowed on campus
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months experience as an X-Ray Technologist required
- Graduation from an accredited school (diploma, associate, or bachelor's accepted from ACEN or CCNE accredited programs)
- Applicable license required if applicable
- Must not have been employed at the facility within the previous six months
- Fingerprinting required for all ER and Psych candidates per Virginia code, results must be cleared before start
