Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for night shifts, requiring ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications, and proficiency with EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU department of a hospital setting
• Care for trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patients
• Patient ratio is typically 1:2
• Night shifts are 3x12 hours, 19:00 to 07:00
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to IMC within the RN scope may be required
• EPIC EMR system is used and experience is required
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Only one request for time off will be permitted
• No block scheduling accommodated
• No on-call responsibility required
• Must be prepared to float as needed between ICU and IMC units

Requirements

• Active RN license for MD or compact state; pending licenses accepted
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience; 3 years preferred
• Must have strong ICU clinical skills
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a lower rate
