Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a fast-paced Emergency Department position at a Level 2 Trauma Center requiring ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 54-bed Emergency Department within a Level 2 Trauma Center
• Care for high acuity patients in a very busy, fast-paced environment
• Average patient volume is 220 per day
• Night shifts (3x12 hours) from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• EPIC EMR is required
• Role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to diverse patient populations in emergent situations
• Fast-paced team environment with high patient throughput
• Night shift assignment with no specified call requirement
• Local candidates within 50 miles are offered a different pay rate

Requirements

• Active MD or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department experience
• At least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (pending accepted)
• Two professional references required at the time of consideration
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Documentation of 2 Step PPD and flu vaccination required without exemptions
