Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced PCU RN with a minimum of 2 years of experience and a NJ or compact RN license for a night shift, float pool position.

Responsibilities

• Position based in a hospital PCU with floating to ICU as needed
• Requires floating across five hospitals within skillset
• Night shifts (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Schedule originates from PCU but may float to ICU
• Block scheduling not allowed
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Uses Epic EMR; experience preferred
• Candidates must provide any requested RTO at the time of application; no additional RTO will be approved after submission
• Floating to multiple affiliated hospitals within the region required based on staffing needs
• Failure to complete or pass required Dysrhythmia test will result in contract cancellation and Do Not Return status
• No block scheduling permitted for this assignment

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent relevant RN experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Must pass Dysrhythmia test on PC within 72 hours of signing, with only two attempts permitted
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with no exemptions at time of consideration
• Epic experience preferred but not required
• First time travelers accepted but not preferred
• Local candidates within 50 miles eligible at a lower rate
