Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with recent Epic proficiency and PACU experience for a diverse surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Hospital operating room with cases including ortho, c-sections, general, podiatry, robotic, and endoscopy
• Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional variations based on caseload
• Call required every 3rd to 4th weekend and one weekday, with possible additional frequency depending on departmental needs
• Epic EMR is used; orientation at Parkview Hospital may be required if experience is not from Parkview
• Will independently provide care for a wide variety of surgical cases
• Must be willing to attend Epic orientation at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne if previous Epic experience is not from that facility
• Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided by the facility
• Must be flexible with call requirements and varying caseloads

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Recent Epic experience within the past year in the same unit type is required
• Proficiency in both circulator and PACU roles
• OR and PACU experience required
• Ability to function independently in assigned roles
