Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) night shift position requiring a MS or compact license and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the SICU and MICU units of a hospital setting
• Primarily assigned to SICU and MICU, with occasional float to medical floors based on census
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a variable 3x12 or 4x12 schedule
• Every other weekend is required
• Uses Meditech EMR system
• Work within a Level III trauma, teaching hospital environment
• Two references must be provided for consideration
• May be required to float to other hospital units if patient census is low
• Documentation for consideration includes copy of driver's license and Social Security card

Requirements

• Active MS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Critical care RN experience required
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CCRN
