Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Primary Care Office position in New York requiring a NY RN license and strong phone triage skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Primary Care Office setting
• Primary responsibilities are phone triage with occasional rooming of patients and administering injections
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
• 40 hours per week over an 8-week assignment
• Uses Meditech charting system
• No on-call responsibilities
• Main duties include managing patient calls and clinical phone triage
• May occasionally assist with patient rooming and giving injections as needed
• Must provide two recent references from a Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager within the past year and specialty
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience
• Previous phone triage experience preferred
• Experience with Meditech charting preferred
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
