Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology/X-Ray Technologist with at least 2 years of acute care experience and current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Position is based in a Level III Trauma Center imaging department
  • Daily schedule is 10am–6pm with every other weekend required
  • May float to a nearby sister hospital as needed
  • Work includes general diagnostic radiology, OR, ER, and portable procedures
  • Candidates must complete mandatory online training modules onsite prior to start
  • COVID-19 vaccination is required
  • Travelers may be required to float between sites within their scope
  • Expect to perform computerized tomographic procedures and general radiology
  • No blocked scheduling is permitted
  • Candidates should demonstrate reliability, dependability, and excellent patient care

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years radiology tech experience required
  • Active ARRT (R) certification required; advanced registry in CT or registry-eligible preferred
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
  • Active MI license required if applicable
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency with general radiology, CT, OR, ER, and portable imaging techniques
