Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position in Albany, NY, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Day shift position with hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week travel contract
• Float Pool assignment covering Med/Surg units

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required; candidates without Epic experience will not be considered
• BLS and all certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or RQI
• Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal and religious exemptions are not accepted
• US Social Security Number required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius and outside of the following counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington — local candidates from these areas are not eligible
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
• No blocked scheduling
• More than 3 call-outs during the contract period may result in termination; any missed shifts must be made up within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
