Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist experienced with orthopedic, spine, neuro, or sports medicine cases to work 8-hour day shifts in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a physical therapy department serving orthopedic, spine, neuro, and sports medicine patient populations
• Work schedule consists of 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, with no weekends, call, or holiday coverage required
• Patient caseload and diagnoses will vary depending on needs
• Equipment used includes dry needle, blood flow restriction, AlterG, therapeutic pool, focused shockwave, and cupping
• EPIC is used for charting
• No floating required
• You will be supported by rehab supervisors and work with a collaborative team
• 5-7 days of orientation provided upon start
• Scrubs in pewter, dark grey, or granite are required
• Free parking is available on site
• No time off exceeding 7 days can be approved by the supervisor
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on prior experience and setting
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles away to be eligible for consideration; local travelers are not permitted
• This is a traveler-friendly facility with a history of welcoming and renewing traveling staff

Requirements

• Current SD licensure required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Accepts candidates with at least 1 year of prior experience
• Degree and licensure as a Physical Therapist are required
• Experience with relevant patient types such as orthopedic, spine, neuro, or sports medicine is highly valued
