Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN with at least two years of cardiac telemetry experience, travel nursing background, and current KY or compact license.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Telemetry unit
Assigned to care for cardiac telemetry patients
Patient ratio is typically 1:5 to 1:6
Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00–7:30)
Floating required to similar units
Epic EMR system experience required
Duties include dysrhythmia interpretation, cardiac patient management, and central line care
Royal blue scrubs are required
Must submit two professional references for consideration

Requirements

Active KY RN license or compact RN license required
Minimum of 2 years cardiac telemetry nursing experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
Experience in pre/post cardiac patient care and central line management required
Proficiency with Epic EMR required
