Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent home health experience and BLS certification for a Home Health assignment.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting caring for geriatric patients
• Covers Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull counties in Ohio within a 60-mile radius from the hub
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day with productivity expectation of 6 points per day or 30 points per week
• OASIS and HCHB EMR experience required
• No on-call requirement
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• iPad provided for work use
• Main responsibilities will include providing home health therapy services to geriatric patients in multiple counties
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Dress code requires scrubs of any color with no jeans allowed
• Locals are accepted at the travel rate
• Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel within territory
• iPad supplied for electronic documentation

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent home health physical therapy experience
• BLS certification required
• Experience with OASIS and HCHB EMR required
• Must be flexible with assigned territory
• Timely documentation and strong communication skills required
