Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health position requiring recent OASIS and HCHB EMR experience.

Details

Home health setting with patient visits in the field
Covers a territory up to a 60-mile radius from the main office
Geriatric patient population with an average of 5-7 patients seen daily
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
On-call required every 3rd to 4th weekend
Documentation completed using the HCHB electronic medical record system
iPad provided for documentation; cell phone not provided
Mileage reimbursed at the standard IRS rate

Requirements

Current Physical Therapist license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of recent home health PT experience
OASIS experience required
Experience with HCHB EMR required
Current BLS certification required
Must be flexible with territory assignments
Ability to complete timely documentation and effective communication

Additional Information

Primary responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of geriatric patients in their homes
Timely and accurate documentation of patient care is expected
Must wear scrubs of any color; jeans are not allowed
First-time travelers are accepted for this position
Local candidates are accepted at the travel rate
