Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an outpatient clinic role focused on virtual care and patient triage, requiring an active GA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient clinic setting providing virtual care via electronic and telephonic communication
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with weekend and holiday coverage included
• Involves managing patient messages, onboarding new members, and triaging calls to physicians
• Utilizes the Epic EMR system
• Primary duties include managing electronic patient messages, handling in-coming calls, and applying nursing assessment and critical thinking for patient triage
• Work may involve both telephonic and online patient interactions as part of the new member onboarding team
• Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
• Assignment must comply with tenure policies, which limit contingent work to two years before a 90-day break is required

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• All required certifications must be active at the time of consideration; pending licenses or certifications are not accepted
• Experience with Epic EMR is required
• Submission of last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth is required
