Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position in Louisiana with travel experience and flexible scheduling requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital
- Day shifts consist of four 10-hour shifts per week with variable start times
- Primary call requirements include up to 4 call shifts per 13-week contract, with call hours from 11 pm to 7 am on weekdays and 7 pm to 7 am on weekends
- Backup call required 1-2 times per week as support for in-house night shift RN
- Low call-in frequency reported
- Provide comprehensive care to post-anesthesia patients
- Must be flexible with scheduling and call requirements
- Two references from supervisors within the last two years are required for consideration
- All time off requests must be disclosed at the time of application
Requirements
- Active RN license from Louisiana or a compact state
- Current PACU nursing experience required
- Previous travel nurse experience is mandatory
- Local candidates are not eligible for this position
