Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-acuity Surgery Trauma Med/Surg unit, requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 2 years of specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Surgery Trauma Med/Surg unit of a hospital
• Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week
• Patient population includes spinal neuro trauma, surgical cases, gunshot wounds, quads, and paraplegic patients
• High acuity floor with complex patient care needs
• No on-call required
• Use of Epic EMR, experience required
• Will be assigned day shifts with no option for block scheduling
• Not accepting requests for time off (RTO) during contract
• Must provide recent references from supervisory staff with aligned dates
• Must submit a skills checklist and comprehensive, up-to-date resume including all employment gaps explained

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg or Surgery Trauma nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
