Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT and BLS certification for a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based radiology department setting
• Patient imaging responsibilities across various work locations within the hospital
• Four 10-hour shifts per week with possible start times between 7:00 AM and 11:30 AM
• No weekend or holiday shifts required unless mutually swapped internally
• Schedules may vary based on business needs and require availability for differing start times
• Must be able to respond to an on-call pager, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends
• Epic EMR system is used for charting
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with department standards and safety guidelines
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork
• Maintain flexibility to float to various work locations and adapt to different shift lengths as needed
• Must comply with all testing and background check processes with specified deadlines
• Assignment is limited to one calendar year from initial start date, with a required 30-60-day break before potential return
• Scrubs or dress code requirements are not specified

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Active ARRT certification and current BLS from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Minimum of 1 year of radiologic technologist experience in the specialty required
• Must have an active license; no pending licenses accepted for consideration (license required if applicable)
• Experience with hospital radiology equipment and technology
• Ability to work varied hours and independently
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required
