Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery LDRP position requiring an IA or compact RN license and 2+ years of recent experience with mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

Work in an LDRP unit covering antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and well baby nursery care
No NICU responsibilities
Setting is a critical access hospital
May be required to float to other units
Care for antepartum, laboring, postpartum mothers, and well newborns
Must be comfortable working in a critical access setting
Team structure involves cross-coverage with other units as needed

Requirements

Active IA RN or compact RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of recent LDRP or maternal/newborn nursing experience
Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
