Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring a TX or compact RN license and current certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for a range of emergency patient populations
• Duties include providing comprehensive care in the Emergency Department for a diverse patient population
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this assignment
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the contract

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Current AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC and NIH Stroke Certification required
• CPI or equivalent crisis prevention certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must provide valid US SSN and DOB for consideration
• At least one professional reference required
