Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU travel assignment requiring a UT or compact RN license and critical care certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Responsible for providing critical care to adult patients in the ICU
• Must be able to handle high-acuity patients and work collaboratively with the care team
• Certifications must not expire within 30 days of assignment start
• First-time travelers will be considered if all requirements are met

Requirements

• Active UT or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical RN experience, with at least 1 year of recent ICU experience
• Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days in the past 12 months
• Valid US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Must provide professional references as required
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
